oala·design is the working archive of every project inside the oala.app family. It started with one project — Edhuruge, a Maldivian children's content brand — and grows into the rest of the work: a critical-thinking app, a hospitality venture, and whatever comes next.
The site is intentionally editorial. We don't want a dashboard. We want a magazine where every project has a feature article, every cast member has a portrait, and every story has a breakdown.
Built in Astro, served as a static site, set in Hoefler Text and Iowan Old Style. The cartoon characters and animated stories are generated through a pipeline that combines the studio's own brand language with OpenAI's gpt-image-1, with strict house-style rules applied on every generation.
